This is a protection strip for the tailgate door on the Land Rover Defender L663 90/110/130.

This strip will give you some protection against knocks from inadvertently opening the tailgate against something (wall etc).

We have designed these ourselves and they are manufactured by 3D printing.

Each protection strip features a debossed chequer plate design.

The strip is designed to clip into place.

We also supply you with a vinyl sticker which you can fit to help protect your paintwork and improve grip prior to fitting the protection strip.

Please note we have revised the design slightly since the below video, these no longer need self adhesive tape applied and they are now supplied with a protective vinyl decal.

Fit the protective decal first, you can fit this wet by spraying the vehicle and back of decal with water (the water allows you to reposition the decal).

Once in position, you can gently squeegee the water out with a credit card and pat dry with a paper towel before fitting the protector.
