Shipping policy

We endeavour to dispatch all orders placed before 1:00pm GMT Tuesday - Friday on the same day subject to stock availability and before 9:00am GMT on a Monday.  Our warehouse does not operate at the weekends so all orders placed at the weekend will be dispatched on the following Monday.  Please also note that our warehouse does not operate on British bank holidays.

A free shipping option is offered to most UK mainland addresses.  A shipping charge applies to those UK mainland areas considered to be remote by our couriers, offshore UK addresses and all international deliveries.  A shipping cost, method and estimate of delivery time is provided prior to checkout.

Typically the UK mainland shipping service is 1-2 working days,  estimated delivery times will be stated at checkout.  

Delivery methods and estimated delivery times stated at checkout are the delivery commitments provided by our couriers.  Powerful UK Ltd will not be held responsible for any delays by the courier. Please allow sufficient time for delivery, our courier service is very good but delays can happen.  Please note that Saturday is not classified as a standard delivery day and so Monday becomes the next working day after Friday.

Occasionally deliveries can be delayed for reasons such as adverse weather conditions, overloading in the courier network due to Christmas, Easter, etc.  If your delivery has not been received within the estimated timescale please contact our Customer Service team who will assist with resolving any issues.

You will be sent your invoice by email when your order is dispatched.

International Deliveries

Shipping to the European Union (EU) — Taxes & Duties

Update from 16-Oct-26 - We ship to customers across the European Union. To make delivery as smooth as possible, we collect VAT and duty at checkout, so the price you pay at checkout is the final price — with nothing further due when your order clears customs.

Orders under €150 (excluding delivery), shipped to countries using IOSS: VAT is collected at checkout under the EU's Import One-Stop Shop (IOSS) scheme, and no further tax is payable on arrival.

Orders over €150, or shipped to countries not currently using IOSS: VAT and duty are still collected at checkout, and the order is shipped under Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) terms — we settle these charges directly with the courier on your behalf, so there should be no additional payment required at the border.

We keep our processes under regular review as EU customs requirements evolve, and we always aim to follow current regulations.

FAQ:

For EU deliveries, do I have to pay tax or duty when my order arrives? No. We collect VAT and duty at checkout, so the price you pay is the final price — there's nothing further to pay when your order clears customs.

Will my price change at checkout? Yes — once you set your delivery country, prices update to include your local VAT, and any duty due will be shown alongside shipping before you complete your order.

What if I'm charged anyway? This shouldn't happen, but if a courier does request payment on delivery, please contact us and we'll resolve it.

International Deliveries - Non-EU

Deliveries to countries outside the UK and EU will be subject to import duties and/or taxes. We DO NOT include these charges in our checkout price. Most countries will calculate duty and tax on the cost of the item plus the shipping cost.  It is the responsibility of the customer to pay all charges of this nature at their customs border.  If a customer refuses to pay these charges and the order is returned to us by the courier, the customer shall be responsible for return shipping charge and any customs charges incurred by Powerful UK Ltd and these will be removed from any subsequent refund due to the customer.

US Customers - Please note that we are a UK based company and we do source many of our products from the UK, however we also source products from China and these will be declared with the Country of Origin as China when we export, so the import duty tariffs to the US will be charged according to the latest US tariff rates ; If goods are returned for refund, we will not be able to refund the duties paid.

All deliveries outside the UK are subject to zero UK VAT at our checkout.

Delivery Times

DHL ECONOMY SELECT is a 2-3 business days service

DHL EXPRESS WORLDWIDE is a 1-2 business days service

All delivery times quoted are courier estimates.  If shipping outside the UK, please note that further delays can occur due to customs delays.  All  international consignments must have a contact telephone number for delivery, please make sure you add the delivery telephone number during checkout.  Order dispatch may be delayed if no contact number is provided at checkout.

If you put the items you require in the basket and go to the checkout screen, enter your address details to get a shipping quote.

If no delivery service is offered at checkout for your country, please contact us with your full delivery address and we will provide a delivery quote.  However, some products we are unable to deliver internationally due to the size, weight, customs restrictions and courier restrictions.

You will be sent an email when your order is dispatched with the courier details and consignment number.

If you are a business based in the EU, please include your EORI number in your address details. Please refer to your country specific customs requirements for more details.

While every effort is made to ensure the shipping charge calculated at checkout is accurate, if once the order has been packed the shipping is calculated to be significantly higher than quoted, we reserve the right to charge the additional amount prior to shipping the order or to cancel the order.
