This listing is for a replacement hinge for the deployable side ladder for the Land Rover Defender L663.
The standard hinges are made from cast alloy and have a tendancy to break when under load (when being used).
Replacement hinges are not available separately from Land Rover so you would need to purchase a complete new ladder (which may also have weak hinges)!
So, we have produced these replacement hinges to enable you to repair your ladder.
The hinge is made from CNC machined billet aluminium (grade 7075 -T6) and has been anodised in black.
The hinge is supplied pre-assembled with a stainless steel centre bolt.
We also supply 2x replacement black stainless steel fitting bolts for either end of the hinge (these replace the standard carbon steel bolts and screw into the steps to secure the hinge).
This listing is for a single hinge - see our other lising to purchase a pair of hinges.
The hinge can be fitted on either the left or right hand side of the ladder.
For a cheaper alternative, we also sell cast hinges which won't be as strong - see our other listing.
This is not a genuine Land Rover part.
