Rear Door Soft Close Wiring Loom & Fitting Kit

(Actuator/Latch/Inserts NOT INCLUDED)

for Land Rover Defender L663

This listing is for a rear door soft close wiring loom and fitting kit for the Land Rover Defender L663.

The Defender L663 lost some features after it's inital launch (maybe due to supply issues/cost-down exercise etc) - the rear door soft close was one features to be dropped.

This means that early vehicles are fitted with this feature but later models may be missing it.

This kit is just for the Powerful UK wiring loom (specially made aftermarket item) plus some other sundries you will need for the project.

This kit does not include the actuator/latch/inserts, you can purchase these separately yourself (ideal if you are overseas as you can source from your local Land Rover dealer or maybe you can find used parts from a salvage vehicle).

See our other listing to purchase the full kit which includes actuator etc.

Included in this kit:

  • Powerful UK Wiring Loom
  • Length of blue pipe to aid threading the power lead through the door (includes bolt & silicone grease)
  • Wago type connector to join power lead
  • 10x cable ties

NOT included - YOU WILL NEED TO PURCHASE SEPARATELY:

  • Actuator - Land Rover part number LR132106
  • Latch - Land Rover part number LR147949
  • 3x Inserts - Land Rover part number LR034344

Once you have all of the required parts, this project can easily be completed with just basic tools - see below walk-through fitting video.
