Mount Clamp Kit for the Land Rover Freelander 2 Aftermarket Cross Bars - Kit D (Stainless)Part number: LR2R359-Kit-D-SS
Light Bar Mounting Clamp Kit (Kit D)
with STAINLESS STEEL End Plates
for Land Rover Freelander 2 'Aftermarket Cross Bars'
This listing is for an accessory mount kit for the Land Rover Freelander 2 Aftermarket Cross Bars.
If you have genuine cross bars the profile is different so you need our 'genuine bar fitment' kit - see item LR2R247 for this.
This listing is for a PAIR of these so you will get 2 sets of clamps / brackets - enough to mount a lightbar.
As the brackets can be slid along the cross bars this enabled you to adjust the spacing of the mounts to suit any light bar.
We have put together several roof mount kit options - this kit includes a pair of our clamps PLUS a pair of stainless steel end plates (we also sell this kit with Black end plates).
We have used this kit to mount a light bar to the roof of our Defender - see photos/video.
Although you can use the T-slots in the rails we
wanted something more chunky and adaptable that spread the load on the
underside of the cross rail.
All of the metal parts in this kit are stainless steel so they will resist corrosion.
We are proud to say that all of the main components in this kit are designed in-house by us and are manufactured locally in the UK.
The blocks are 3D printed in-house - 3D printing leaves layer lines, and a texture on the top surfaces. This is a characteristic of this method, but gives a satisfactory finish.
This kit is shaped to fit the aftermarket cross bars - see our part number LR2B180.
We also sell other roof mount kit options - see our other listings.
We also sell this kit with a black powder coat finish.
This is not a genuine Land Rover item.
See below video where we use the Defender version of this kit to mount a light bar (this kit is specifically for the Freelander 2 genuine cross bars).
Which Vehicles will this fit ?
This item WILL fit the Land Rover Freelander 2 fitted with aftermarket cross bars
