This is an interior LED upgrade light kit for the Land Rover Defender L663.

This kit will upgrade the standard lights in your front footwells and boot.

Included in this kit is:

• 2 x RED front footwell lights
• 2 x RED boot lights
• Free fitting tool to make removing existing lights easier!

Why red? Apart from aesthetic reasons there are a couple of other reasons why you might want to fit red lights especially if camping etc.

1. Red light keeps your eyes adjusted to the dark so do not ruin your night vision in the way that white or yellow lights do.
2. Red light is less attractive to insects so is less likely to attract unwanted visitors to your campsite.

These are dual brightness LED models. The footwell lights shine bright when the doors are open (for better visibility) and then dim to ambient white lighting when the doors are closed (at night/headlights on).

We also include 2x LED lights for the boot/loadspace area.

Our LED modules have 18 LEDs per module... as opposed to 3 on the standard modules!

These are a straight "plug and play" swap for the standard units.

It is important to note that these units have been designed to "fade" (some LED versions cannot fade - they just flicker or go from ON to OFF).

No error messages will appear on the dash with these modules ( telling you a bulb has failed ) as there is a circuit added to ensure the car CANbus system does not see any change from the original light.
