• New Defender Electrical

  • A range of wiring looms and electrical upgrades for the Defender L663, including dash cam wiring, wireless phone charging kits and soft close looms.

We have designed a range of useful electrical upgrades which help you to get power and connections to the right place, simply and easily. Our solutions are designed to be straight forward to fit and ensure the finished job looks tidy rather than improvised.

Dash cam owners are well served, with hardwire and overhead console wiring kits for Garmin, Nextbase, and BlackVue cameras, USB-A and USB-C versions, a complete BlackVue kit, and a genuine Land Rover dash cam kit. For keeping phones charged, there are wireless charging trays for the centre console and passenger side, MagSafe holders and plinths, and a USB-C surface mount charger.

Other upgrades include a rear door soft-close retrofit kit, wiring looms for the ClearSight rear-view mirror system in 90, 110, and 130 lengths, footwell ambient lamps, a boot loadspace LED light, and LED strip and bar light kits for camping and awning use. A genuine 13.1" infotainment screen is also available.

Because these parts fit in different areas of the vehicle, each listing states where it goes and which body length or version it suits, so check the details before ordering.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will these electrical parts fit my Defender 90, 110, or 130?
Some parts, such as the ClearSight wiring looms, are supplied in separate lengths for each body style. Others fit across all variants. Each listing states exactly what it fits, so check this before ordering, or contact us if you're unsure.

What does "early" and "late" type mean on the centre console items?
The Defender's centre console changed during production, so we list early and late versions of the MagSafe holders and plinths. Check the listing for guidance on which suits your vehicle, or contact us if you're unsure.

Which dash cam wiring kit do I need?
This depends on your camera. We list hardwire kits made for Garmin, Nextbase, and BlackVue cameras, plus overhead console kits with USB-A or USB-C connections. Check which connector your dash cam uses and choose the matching kit.

Do I need a professional to fit these?
Many of our wiring kits and charging parts are designed for DIY fitting with standard tools, and most listings include fitting notes or instructions. Larger installations, such as the soft-close retrofit kit or infotainment screen, may suit professional fitting if you're not confident. We are unfortunately not able to recommend fitting centres.
