Sunglasses Holder Retrofit Kit in 'Oyster'

for Land Rover Defender L663

This kit will allow you to install the drop down sunglasses holder in the overhead console of the Land Rover Defender L663.

The sunglasses holder was one of the features that was removed from newer vehicles and it was replaced with a 'blank'.

We have managed to source all of the correct parts just for the sunglasses holder section so that you do not have to replace the complete overhead console.

IMPORTANT NOTE - We have found that this kit works in around 85% of cases. It can be fiddly to install, as you will see from the retrofit videos. There seems to be a variation between vehicles, on some it works straight away whereas others need adjustment. If the holder does not function correctly after fitting, there are a number of options that can be tried to resolve these issues, all options are explained in the retrofit update video. If you unfortunately fall into the 15% of cases where this install does not function correctly even after trying the adjustments, we can only offer that you return the item for a full refund. We do not have any other technical options to suggest. Please note that if you choose to buy this kit, you are buying it with this understanding.

Included in this kit is:

• Genuine Land Rover Sunglasses Holder in Oyster colour
• Genuine Land Rover clip/friction bush
• Damper cog
• Stiffening brace insert - we now include 2x of these braces to aid fitment.

The sunglasses holder assembly and friction clip are genuine Land Rover items, brand new in retail packaging.

The damper cog is an aftermarket item, while the stiffening brace insert is our own in-house laser cut part.

NOTE - if you have wireless headphones/rear entertainment there may be a module where the sunglass holder is located and this may need to be removed if you want the sunglass holder.

Which Vehicles will this fit ?

This item WILL fit all the Land Rover Defender L663 models that have the blank fitted where the sunglasses holder should be.
