This listing is for a pair of chequer plate surrounds for the rear tow loops on the Land Rover Defender L663.

These are designed and developed by our in-house engineering team so this is an exclusive Powerful UK product.

The chequer plate design compliments any other chequer plate accessories you may have fitted and adds to the rugged utilitarian look.

There are several reasons you may wish to purchase these:

• If you have upgraded your vehicle to the rear tow loops and the bumper looks unfinished where the blanking plate used to be.
• If you have a Defender X (which came with tow loops pre-fitted at factory) and your bumper looks unfinished.
• The surrounds adds some protection to the immediate area around the towing loops which is useful when taking shackles on/off etc
• Just because these are a nice addition to your vehicle and look great when fitted!

One thing to note is that if you have the Model X with the tow hooks pre-fitted at factory you may have part of the recess around the hook removed (where Land Rover tried to make it look tidier) - but this means that the Land Rover inserts will not fit as they clip to the section they removed! However, these surrounds will fit as they secure over the recess and not inside ( see pictures of them fitted to the Model X ).

IMPORTANT TO CONSIDER BEFORE PURCHASE - we sell 2 sizes of this item:

• Full size - this fits all models but is not compatible with the Powerful UK full size rear bumper cover.
• Slim - the surrounds have a slightly slimmer top and are designed to fit with the full size rear bumper cover (a Powerful UK product) - see part number TOW880 for slim version.

This listings is for the full size type so is not suitable if you have (or plan to purchase) the Powerful UK full size rear bumper cover.

This listing is for 2 finishers, left and right (they are handed).

The surrounds are pre-fitted with automotive grade self adhesive tape and supplied with an alcohol based surface preparation wipe to ensure maximum adhesion.

These are not genuine Land Rover items.

Fitting Details

Clean the area with the provided wipe and allow to dry.

Fit the part in place and apply pressure for around 1 minute.

Please do not test adhesion or wash your vehicle for at least 24 hours to allow the item time to bond.

This item WILL fit all Land Rover Defender L663 90/110/130 models that have the fixed tow loops fitted

This item WILL NOT fit if you have the Powerful UK full size rear bumper cover fitted (check photos)
