Genuine Land Rover USB Type A Socket

for Land Rover Defender L663

This is a genuine Land Rover USB-A socket for the Defender L663.

This can be used to replace an inoperable socket 'like for like'.

These USB-A sockets were fitted to the 2020 Defender - then from 2021 onwards they changed to the later USB-C (CHG198).

As the power sockets are interchangeable you could also change from a different socket type (maybe change from 'cigarette lighter' to USB).

There are 5 locations that use the same fitting - one in the front passenger dash tray and then 4 in the rear below the rear air vents.

This is a genuine Land Rover item in retail packaging, part number LR128008.

Fitting Details

Please note that if you are fitting this to the dash of a 2021+ Defender you may have to trim the rubber mat slightly (later vehicles had a smaller hole for USB-C ports).
