for Land Rover Defender L663 (90 models)

This is a decal kit (both sides) for the side panels (or signature panel) on the Land Rover Defender L663 90 models (short wheelbase).

The side panel is optional on the 90 models (but fitted to all 110 models).

We designed this decal to fit perfectly onto the side square and will look great fitted to dark or light coloured vehicles.

This X decal gives you 3 fitting options, you just fit it however you want:

• Option 1 fit the decal just as it arrives with the X in the middle and an outer frame
• Option 2 remove the centre X and fit just the outer frame leaving a 'negative' X
• Option 3 just fit the centre X decal and not the outer frame

This decal would be suited to the X or X-Dynamic models.

You will receive 2 decals in the kit - one for each side.

This decal is cut from automotive grade vinyl which has a textured matt black finish.

The decal will come with application backing pre-applied to make fitting as easy as possible.

Included in this kit is:

• X design decals in Textured Matte Black (Left & Right)
• Squeegee application tool
• Alcohol based surface preparation wipe

Installation can be achieved by a few different methods - wet application/dry application etc.

We have made a video (see below) of us fitting similar decals to our Defender 110 - don't necessarily follow our application method as we've improved the application film!

IMPROVED: We now pre-fit these decals with high-tack clear application film.

Fitting Details

It is important to start with clean paint - any dirt on your bodywork will be magnified and appear as bumps in the decal.

Tip: Usually tar spots are left behind after washing, these can be felt as small bumps at the finger tips - use a light compound polish, tar remover or clay bar to remove.

Use the supplied alcohol wipe as a final clean to remove contaminants before applying the decal.

Note: These decals are now pre-fitted with high-tack application film.
