This listing is for an aftermarket 'rear number plate light housing' kit for the Land Rover Freelander 2.

The design of the rear number plate housing was updated in 2010 as part of the first Freelander 2 facelift (this design then stayed the same until end of production in 2014).

The new design housing was much longer than the previous one.

We have had these produced with a pre-painted gloss black strip instead of chrome - which is a popular upgrade with Freelander 2 owners.

The main housing is in primer and ready to be painted into the colour of your choice to match your vehicle by your preferred bodyshop.

This kit can be used as replacement parts to repair a damaged housing on a later tailgate (2010 -14).

There are 2 parts to this trim panel - the primer panel and the gloss black trim strip.

We supply you with a tube of silicone to use when fitting the strip to the housing - this will ensure a secure fit.

Note: This housing has the hole for a reversing camera - if you do not have a reversing camera fitted to your vehicle it may be advisable to bond in a blanking plate before fitting to vehicle (the bodyshop could do this for you at the time of painting).

You will need to drill new fitting holes in your tailgate to fit this item - please check fitment of item before proceeding with drilling.

We also supply the 6 self adhesive circles (for marking drilling points) and 8 x M6 cap head bolts and washers as used in the video.

These parts do not come with number plate lights or switch fitted but you can just re-use your existing parts.

These are good quality aftermarket parts and can be used as an alternative to Land Rover part number LR040786.
