for Range Rover Sport L320

This is an overhaul kit for the tow hitch on your Range Rover Sport L320 (2005 -2013 ... please read below as you could have an early car with later tow hook as they are interchangeable ).

The internal locking mechanics in the removable tow hitches become corroded, stiff or seized - this kit will allow you to recondition your tow hitch to its former glory!

Included in the kit is:

1 x Lock assembly (Small Type) with 2 keys (Genuine Land Rover item KNW500010)
1 x Copper grease sachet
1 x Steel ball bearing
1 x Button bolt

Please note: There are 2 type of lock assembly that are fitted to the Range Rover Sport - small type or large type [ This listing is the SMALL types ] . Please check which you have before ordering (see photos).

Also note that the small type locking mechanism does not have a "rachet" inside so does not "click" as you twist it.

Although the tow bars are listed as "early" and "late" type the only change is the lock mechanism plastics - you can use either tow hook on all Range Rover Sport models from 2005 -2012.

Note: If you have the small type lock you are actually able to upgrade to the large type by purchasing TOW608 (large cog) and TOW532 (large lock).

If there is any damage to your tow bar / mechanism you should not use it - serious damage can arise from using a faulty tow bar !
