Board Mount Kit
for Land Rover
Defender L663
This kit will allow you to mount the ARB Tred Pro recovery boards to the spare wheel on the Land Rover Defender L663.
At the heart of this kit are our custom extended wheel nuts which replace the standard spare wheel nuts to give you a mounting point for accessories.
Included in this kit is a 12mm phenolic plywood mounting plate which is custom made for the ARB Tred Pro recovery boards and mounting pins.
The mounting plate is 2 sided, you can choose which way to mount it - one side is light grey hex pattern and the other side is black.
Phenolic plywood is a durable, water resistant material made from bonding thin layers of wood veneers together with phenolic resins.
Your standard wheel brace can be used to tighten/undo the nuts and custom bolts (22mm head) so your accessories can easily be removed if you need to access your spare wheel.
There are cut-outs in the edge of the mount which you can use for strapping for extra security when in transit.
We have also designed some collars which fit onto the end of each nut to make the mounting surface larger and more secure.
The kit includes:
- 3x Extended wheel nuts
- 3x Stainless steel bolts
- 3x Collars for the ends of the nuts
- Phenolic plywood mounting plate for ARB Tred Pro boards
- 4x Longer bolts to mount the Tred quick release pins
You will need to purchase ARB recovery boards and Tred quick release pins separately (we also sell these items).

NOTE - these wheel nuts are not intended to be used for your main wheels - just for securing your spare wheel!
