Defender L663
This is a spare wheel fuel can mounting kit (single can) for the Land Rover Defender L663.
This kit will allow you to mount a RotopaX can or a Terrafirma Terra Can to the rear of your Defender.
Although originally designed for fuel these cans are now available for water so ideal for camping / washing the dog ( or maybe your husband ) etc.
Simply swap out the standard spare wheel nuts with these extended nuts which stand proud of the spare wheel and allow you to attach the supplied stainless steel mounting plate.
We include custom manufactured stainless steel bolts (which have shallow heads) to attach the plate.
Your standard wheel brace can be used to tighten/undo the nuts and custom bolts (22mm head) so your accessories can easily be removed if you need to access your spare wheel.
We have also designed some collars which fit onto the end of each nut to make the mounting surface larger and more secure ( and super neat ! ).
The kit includes:
- 3x Extended wheel nuts
- 3x Stainless steel bolts
- 3x Collars for the ends of the nuts
- Stainless steel mounting plate (single can type)
- Acrylic spacer plate ( this gives a flat surface for the can to rest against )
You will need to supply your own can and can mount (bar or traingle).
This item is compatible with the Rotopax bar mount and the Terrafirma triangle mount (see photo).

NOTE - these wheel nuts are not intended to be used for your main wheels - just for securing your spare wheel !
