Deployable Towbar Static Conversion Repair Kit

The deployable towbar motor on the Land Rover Defender L663 can be susceptible to damage/fault.

Replacement motors/parts are not available from Land Rover so you would need to purchase a complete towbar assembly with the metal crossmember!

If your towbar motor assembly no longer works you can use this kit to convert it to a static towbar to get you back operational.

You will need to remove the motor assembly, manually adjust the tow ball into position and rotate the second mechanism to lock it in place.

You can then use this kit to secure it in position, and fit the supplied cap to protect it from the elements until you can repair or replace the towbar.

The car will still report an error unless you change your CCF files from a deployable towbar to a fixed towbar.
