Crystal Halogen Headlamp Conversion kit RHD (PAIR)
for Toyota MR2 Mk1 & Mk2

This is a pair of crystal headlights for the Toyota MR2 Mk1/Mk2.

These lights are Right Hand Drive, E-Marked headlights with the correct UK beam pattern and will pass a UK MOT.

The light pattern is set by the reflector not by the lens (as on standard headlights) so the lens is smooth giving a cleaner sharper appearance to the lights.

These lights give up to 25% more light output than standard headlights even using the same bulb.

The reflectors on these lights are made from plastic and so it will not rust or corrode like the older metal ones.

The lenses are made from glass and so will not scratch or fade.

These lights use Halogen H4 bulbs (not included) which you should have in your old lights (unless you have sealed beam units fitted).

These lights do not have a side light bulb.

This listing is for a PAIR of headlights (no bulbs).

These are not genuine Toyota items.

Fitting Details

Straight replacement for standard unit on most cars - we have had a couple of customers who have found they have had to modify the rear housing but on the light we purchased to do the test we did not have a problem - see pictures. This may be due to a to a difference in import / UK cars, see below information we received from a customer:

'The UK cars came with adjustable beam headlights to comply with MOT regulations. This means there is a small additional motor in the UK headlights taking up vital space, so the bowl is slightly smaller with a couple of extra brackets. If you are careful the UK bowl can be modified to accept the after market lens and still use the adjuster, but it easier just to get a set of the import bowls and retro fit these at the same time.'

No change to wiring or connector needed as the bulbs connection is the same for sealed beam and halogen H4 bulbs.

Note - the left headlight and right headlight are both the same.
