LED Rear Number Plate Light
for Land Rover Freelander 1
Upgrade the rear number plate light on your Land Rover Freelander 1 from the standard type to this new LED array type.
This will give more light / a much whiter light and use less power than the old bulb
Note there is only one lamp unit on the Freelander 1 so you only need one.
This light assembly hase an 18 SMD LED array that makes up the light unit.
This is a straight "plug and play" swap for the standard unit.
This light is E-marked.
No error messages will appear on the dash with these modules ( telling you a bulb has failed ) as there is a circuit added to ensure the car CANbus system does not see any change from the original light.
The original light units are now not available and the old ones are often faded and brittle and have been known to break when you are replacing the bulbs.
This is not a genuine Land Rover part but can be used as an alternative to Land Rover part number XFC100540.

It has come to our attention, that whilst on our vehicle, the spire nuts were intact, but that some customers had rusted to the point of not being re-useable.
This number plate light now comes with 2 x Spire Nuts, in the correct size which have been test fitted.
