This is a set of 4 door scuff plate inserts for the Land Rover Discovery Sport (L550).

The standard door scuff plates are 'all plastic' construction.

Land Rover do sell upgraded scuff plates which have a metal insert in (available for front doors only) but you have to purchase the complete plastic tread plate section complete with scuff plate (see our part number LRXI587).

We have come up with an easy-fit upgrade item which simply fits into the recess in the standard plastic tread plate.

This is for a set of 4 inserts to upgrade the front AND rear doors.

Land Rover do not produce upgraded scuff plates for the rear doors so these are a unique item.

The inserts have self adhesive tape pre-applied on the rear for easy fitment.

These are finished in brushed silver with a black sport logo and stripes.

We also supply you with a surface preparation wipe and silicone to ensure maximum adhesion of the parts.

Fitting Details

Ensure your standard scuff plates are free of dirt and grit that would prevent the inserts fitting snugly.

Use the supplied alcohol wipe to clean the standard plastic scuff plates (this is important as it will remove any residue from cleaning products that may prevent the inserts sticking).

Remove the adhesive backing on the insert and fit in place.

Apply firm pressure for at least one minute.

Do not test adhesion for at least 24 hours to allow the item to bond.

These WILL fit a Land Rover Discovery Sport from 2015 to 2020

These WILL NOT fit the 'New' Land Rover Discovery Sport that was released in 2020
