This is door card upgrade kit for the Land Rover Classic Defender front doors.

We have designed and engineered our own door cards in-house, so these are exclusive to Powerful UK.

We are proud to say these are manufactured in the UK to our exact specifications.

We have incorporated some design features to allow flexibility to customise the door card to your own requirements.

Some of the features are:

• Surface moulding feature for tweeter speaker or switches etc
• Surface moulding feature for main door speaker pod
• Recess at the bottom of the card for a reflector (we sell these separately)
• Exposed allen-head bolt fixings ( better than the plastic clips used originally )

The door cards are made from 3mm vacuum formed black ABS plastic.

Note: These door cards are to fit the early type doors which are usually fitted to the Defender models between 1987 -2006. They will not fit the late type doors which are usually fitted to the Defender models between 2006 -2016.

These door cards are fixed in place with bolts instead of clips (the original door cards use plastic clips) - you'll need to install the supplied rivnuts into your doors for the bolts to fit into.

Note: we have not tested the fitment of the door cards ourselves on the Puma Defender doors and believe some modifications / trimming will need to be done for the door cards to fit.

Included in this kit is:

• 2x Door Cards (Left & Right)
• Fitting kit of rivnuts, bolts and all other fixings
• 2x Anti-rattle foam squares (pre-fitted)
• 2x Rubber window strips for the top of the door cards

NOT included in this kit, but shown in the video and available separately:

• Reflectors - see part number RFR697 (you will need to purchase a pair)
• Stainless Steel Door Handles - see part number LRDI667
• HSX door pull bowls - see part number LRDI802

If you have electric windows (and do not have a window winder) we have produced a blanking bung to cover the winder hole - see our other listing.

Note: You will need a rivnut tool to complete this installation - you can purchase one for us, see part number RFT467. We also recommend a 9mm bit for the rivnut holes.

Some classic defenders have poor consistency in build so you may need to tweak some holes using the new door cards as a template.

The heater (HEVAC) control lever is marginally compromised by the tweeter 'pod' but with little effect to the performance as tested on our own vehicle.

These are not genuine Land Rover parts.

Which vehicles will this fit?

This item WILL fit the Land Rover Classic Defender up to 2006 - with the early type doors, please see will / won't fit image.

This item WILL fit the Land Rover Classic Defender Puma models but modifications / trimming will need to be done to aid fitment up to 2006.

This item WILL NOT fit the Land Rover Classic Defender models from 2006 -2016 - with the late type doors, please see will / won't fit image.
