Gear Mode Switch Repair Kit

for Range Rover L322 Vogue 2002-06

A Powerful UK exclusive product!

The hi/low and terrain mode selector switches on the early L322 Range Rovers (2002 -06) are prone to breaking.

Unfortunately, the switch parts are not available individually from Land Rover so you would need to purchase the whole assembly including the switches and complete surround (around £300!).

Powerful UK have produced the internal white plastic 'carrier' element of the switch assembly that breaks - allowing you strip down and repair the switch yourself at a fraction of the cost!

We have also made some design improvements to this new part to increase integral strength.

Here we have put together this repair kit of:

  • x2 replacement switch 'carriers' (if you only need to repair 1 switch you will have a spare!)
  • Torx T6 bit - needed to remove the gear surround console to access the switches

We also sell a Refurb kit which includes a new fascia sticker as well as the above items if you want to renew this at the same time (these are available in Black or Magnolia).

These are not genuine Land Rover items.

Fitting Details

Firstly remove the gear knob gaiter by pushing the side of the base towards the center - this will allow the gear lever gaiter to be lifted.

Then place your fingers under the gear lever surround and pull the surround upwards - it is held in place with spring clips - no screw fixings.

The surround can them be passed over the gear lever and the new item fitted.
