Upgraded Tailgate Gas Struts - PAIR

for Land Rover Freelander 2

This listing is for a pair of top quality OEM gas struts for the tailgate on the Land Rover Freelander 2.

Gas struts are notorious for losing their mojo which can lead to the tailgate not staying up or becoming hard to open.

Changing your struts is one of those jobs you'll be glad you did - sometimes you don't realise how bad they've got until you renew them!

This strut kit can be used to replace and refresh the 2 struts on the tailgate of the Land Rover Freelander 2.

These gas struts are rated at a force of 520N which is a slight upgrade from the original struts rated at 505N but this 3% increase seems to be a bonus and make lifting easier.

These are German made Stabilus Lift-O-Mat struts - exactly the same as supplied by Land Rover (they just don't have the Land Rover logo printed on).

These are a quality OEM (Original Equipment Manufacture) item that have 520nm of lifting power each (beware of cheap aftermarket alternatives).

To purchase these struts from from Land Rover would be over £40 each!

This is a simple DIY project that only takes 10 minutes - we have done a video below to show you how to do it!

You could also replace your bonnet struts at the same time? We sell a 4 piece 'full upgrade' kit which includes bonnet and tailgate struts.

These are genuine Stabilus gas struts.
