This is a replacement headlight back for the Freelander 2 (2007 -11).

This listing is for the left hand side (UK passenger side/nearside).

You could use this back to swap the internal components into if your headlight back/clips are damaged.

This case should be compatible with all headlight types - LHD / RHD / Halogen / Xenon etc

This item is to fit the pre-facelift type Freelander 2 headlight which was fitted from 2007 -11 (see pictures).

This item is made from tough polypropylene plastic.

This listing is for the left side only - please see our other listing to purchase the opposite side.

Note: You will need to apply heat to your lamp to soften the adhesive to separate the old base from the lens. You'll also need to seal/glue the lens back onto this base when complete.

These are not genuine Land Rover parts.

This spare part incorporates a third party design and is intended exclusively to be used to repair the vehicle to its original appearance.

Fitting Details

We have not done this replacement ourselves yet.

The trickiest part is removing the old lens which is bonded into place.

With previous headlight upgrades we have had some success by baking the headlight assembly first at a low temp to loosen the bonding material around the old lens to release the housing.

Which Vehicles will this fit ?

This item WILL fit the earlier Freelander 2 models from 2007 -2011

This item WILL NOT fit the later Freelander 2 (2012 -14) as the shape is slightly different.
