This listing is for a plug and play power tap-in loom for the Land Rover Freelander 2 2012 -onwards.

For some reason, only known to Land Rover, they decided to swap the Earth and 12v around on the overhead light unit as part of the facelfit !

In 2012 the Freelander 2 had a '2nd facelift' which included a new interior, plus new headlights/rear lights (this is also when the electrics changed).

This loom has been designed to plug into the existing wiring above the overhead console to give you a power feed which you can use to install a dashcam etc.

This is a plug and play solution - so no alterations are required to your vehicles wiring.

The power [ RED wire] is live when the car is 'awake' - so it is live when you unlock your car and remains active for approximately 30 minutes after you lock your car - until your vehicle shuts down into 'sleep mode'.

The Earth connection is the GREEN wire.

We will also supply you with a 'chisler' trim tool to aid removing your overhead console.

We recommend that you connect the intended power supply to this loom before installing in the car to reduce the risk of blowing a fuse with the exposed connections.
