This listing is for a clamp kit which fits the aftermarket cross bars for the Land Rover Freelander 2.

If you have genuine cross bars the profile is different so you need our 'genuine bar fitment' kit - see item LR2R247 for this.

We sell 2 versions of this particular kit:

• Zinc plated mild steel top plate - steel is magnetic so this is suitable for mounting magnetic accessories to (aerials etc). The zinc coating offers some resistance against corrosion.
• Stainless steel top plate (this kit) - this is non-magnetic but offers increased resistance against corrosion.

We have put together this kit which will give you a solid and secure mounting plate that you can mount your accessories to (lights/ aerials /bike rack / roof box etc).

Although you can use the T-slot in the cross bars, we wanted something a little more "chunky" and adaptable to mount other accessories.

The overall size of the top mounting plate is 135mm x 135mm.

This listing is for 1 mount assembly as shown in the photos.

The 3D printed clamps are designed to fit the profile of the cross bars perfectly.

The UK manufactured stainless steel metal plates include bottom strap plates and a square top plate which includes holes for you to mount your accessories to.

The assembly is tightened down securely in place with the supplied stainless steel coach bolts and stainless nyloc nuts.

As all of the metal parts in this kit are stainless steel so they will not rust.

Note that stainless steel is not magnetic so the top plate is not suitable for magnetic accessories like aerials etc - see our zinc plated steel kit for a magnetic top.

We are proud to say that all of the main components in this kit are designed in-house by us and are manufactured locally in the UK.

The blocks are 3D printed in-house - 3D printing leaves layer lines, and a texture on the top surfaces. This is a characteristic of this method, but gives a satisfactory finish.
