Land Rover do not make a side bar for the Dynamic model ! - their chrome side tubes only fit the PURE and PRESTIGE models.

The Dynamic model is fitted with different shape plastic sill covers and so the side bars from Land Rover PN VPLVP0071 will not fit ( believe us - we have tried )

To solve this problem we have designed our own side step to fit the dynamic model and this is what we have for sale here.

These steps look great on the car - each side bar has been curved to match the profile of the sill perfectly.

The side bars not only look great but are designed so they protrude enough from the car to offer protection from shopping trolley and car park car door damage.

The specially molded end caps ensure that these side bars morph into the shape of the car and don't look like a cheap after thought.

If you are not sure what model you have... basically the DYNAMIC model has the Square type exhausts in the rear bumper - the PURE and the PRESTIGE have the round exhausts !

We have designed this product to use the same mounting brackets and mounting holes as the Land Rover side bars for the Pure but designed a new bar suited to the dynamic sill profile.

This kit consists of a a pair of 3" ( 75mm ) diameter polished stainless steel side bars complete with all the brackets and bolts needed to fit this to your vehicle.

To help you save time and cost we have done a fitting video which should help you fit these on the car yourself.

This is a simple bolt on operation with no drilling or special tools required - the only thing you need to cut is two 40mm x 40mm holes in the plastic side steps ( this is the same for the genuine Land Rover side bars for the Evoque pure / prestige )

No special rivnut tool is needed to fit the 4 x M6 rivnuts as this kit uses the hexagonal type rivnuts that fit the pre-punched hexagonal holes in the Evoque body.

The only tool you need that you may not have in your tool box is the forked clip removal tool - this is included FREE with this kit . You do not even need to jack the car up to fit these side bars.

Please note, we include 4x M8 hex rivnuts if you do not have the side reinforcement bars fitted to your Dynamic as shown at 06:45 in part 1 of the fitting videos.

This is not a genuine Land Rover accessory ( Land Rover do not make a side bar for the Dynamic ! )

Please note that this item will not fit convertible models.

Fitting Details

Remove the plastic sills from the car - fit the brackets ( marked for location ) - cut hole in the plastic sill - refit the plastic sill - fit the side bars.

Fitting time should be about 20-30 mins per side. ( typically 30 mins for the first side and 20 for the second side as you get the hang of it ! )

Please note on 2012 models on the side impact bars are not fitted.

Which Vehicles will this fit ?

This WILL fit all of the Range Rover Evoque 1 (2011-17) DYNAMIC models - both 3 and 5 door versions ( the dynamic models have the square type exhaust tailpipes )

This WILL NOT Fit the Range Rover Evoque PURE and PRESTIGE models ( unless they have been upgraded to the sports body kit )

This WILL NOT fit the Range Rover Evoque convertible models

This WILL NOT fit the Range Rover Evoque 2 2018+ model
