Timing BELT for 3.0 D4D Diesel Engine

for Toyota Hilux Mk6 / Mk7 / Vigo

The Hilux 3.0L D4d Engine was fitted with a Timing belt not a timing chain and this needs replacing to avoid expensive repairs to the engine if it fails.

The good news is that this is a pretty easy job to do on the Hilux - see below DIY video

As this is a job that you don't need to do too often you may want to consider if it is worth fitting these original parts rather than after market parts.
