This is an aftermarket replacement metal bracket for the raised air intake (snorkel) for the Land Rover Defender L663.

Early snorkels were equipped with a metal bracket and this was later revised to a plastic one by Land Rover (possibly to cure the loose fit?).

However, we have had customers reporting that their plastic brackets have been breaking in harsh conditions - car wash etc !

Land Rover do not sell a replacement bracket so you would need to purchase a whole new snorkel - which is why we've made these brackets available to purchase separately.

This bracket is made from black power coated steel and is the same design as the V1 bracket that was initially produced by Land Rover.

To help with the slightly loose fit that the metal brackets have we will also include a small piece of self adhesive neoprene that sticks to the inside of the metal bracket and presses on the snorkel to hold it firmly in place.

This is NOT a genuine Land Rover part.

Fitting Details

Fit the small piece of neoprene to the inside of the metal bracket - this will help tighten up the fit of the snorkel.
