for Land Rover Classic Defender

Machined from billet aluminium this is a cover to fit onto the plastic fuel filler cap.

Add that extra touch to your Classic Defender by fitting one of these alloy fuel filler caps.

With the word DIESEL clearly engraved into the blue anodised finish you will make sure you put the correct fuel into your car.

These fit onto the existing fuel cap using the pre-fitted double sided tape and silicone adhesive (silicone is supplied).

Note there are 2 different types of locking fuel cap used on the classic Defender - this item fits the later type.

The later fuel cap is smaller and was used on Diesel models from around 1998 onwards.

This is not a genuine Land Rover accessory.

Fitting Details

Clean the area with the supplied surface preparation wipe.

Remove the self adhesive backing tape and apply some of the supplied silicone (not too much or it will squidge out when the cap is fitted!).

Fit the part and apply gently pressure for around 1 minute.

Do not test adhesion for at least 24 hours to allow the item time to bond.

This WILL FIT all Classic Defender models from chassis number XA159807 onwards (around 1998)
