This is a replacement gear knob for the Nissan Navara D40 pickup.

This is for the 6 speed manual truck version.

This is a new design we have developed to replace the original items.

This item is a direct screw on replacement for the original ( see below DIY video )

This gear knob has a nylon insert that self threads as you apply pressure and screw on at the same time.

The gear markings are in the silver finish top plate and so will not wear off like the Nissan design.

We have two versions of this gear knob - Perforated Leather and smooth napa leather - this is the perforated version ( see our other items for the smooth napa leather version )

This item is supplied complete with spacer tie - see below video.

Please note that this gear knob is shorter than the standard Nissan gear knob and so there may be a gap between the top of the leather gater and this gear knob.

This is not a genuine Nissan item.

This video shows how to do this.

The quick way ( 1 minute ) is just to unscrew the old and screw on the new ( the gear knob has a nylon insert this self threads as you push down & screw on)

The long way ( 3 minutes ) means popping out the gear surround to fit a spacer under the gaiter to reduce the gap between the gear knob and the gaiter

Which Vehicles will this fit ?

This item will fit all Nissan Navara D40 models with the the 6 speed manual gearbox

These WILL NOT fit the Earlier Navara D22 Model
