Re-trimmed Leather Steering Wheel

The leather used on the Range Rover Sport steering wheels does not seem to be standing the test of time well and some wheels are getting crazed and sticky.

We have purchased some steering wheels and had them re-trimmed in the UK with top quality leather.

We have improved the design slightly by adding a perforated leather section in the main grip areas.

One this wheel the top and bottom leather sections are "Ivory" ( white / cream ) napa leather which has a smooth texture.

Make sure you have the "Ivory" interior as ivory and aspen are similar ( see picture )

Rather than needing to send your wheel off to a leather trimmer and have your car off the road for a few days - you can buy this item from us - we will send you a re-trimmed item and then you can swap you wheel over without being off the road. In order to offer this service we will need to take your credit card details to hold as a guarentee that you will return your old wheel.

This is an original Range Rover Steering wheel but has been retrimmed by a UK leather company that is an approved Landrover supplier.

This listing is for a bare steering wheel with no airbag and no switches.

You retain all your original wiring / airbags etc so there are no compatibility issues.

This Steering wheel comes complete with a FREE steering wheel removal tool ( see below video )

Exchange Process

This steering wheel is sold on an exchange basis - what does this mean ?

We take standard steering wheels and remove the leather and re-profile the steering wheel and then recover with new leather. We then sell these refurbished items on and exchange basis so that we get the customers original steering wheel back for refurbishment. This way we can keep costs down and prevent the old steering wheels ending up in landfill.

When you purchase this item you are agreeing to return your old steering wheel to us ( you will need to pay the return postage ). You will need to contact us to by phone on 01285 706112 to provide us with your card details so we can retain these in case you decide not to return the steering wheel.

If you live outside of the UK or would like to keep your original core then an ADDITIONAL charge of £85 will need to be paid which can be refunded if the wheel is returned.

When returning your original steering wheel please ensure that your details are included inside the box so we know who is returning the item.

Fitting Details

We would recommend that the steering wheel is changed by trained personnel only.

Which Vehicles will this fit ?

This item WILL fit all Range Rover Sport models from Launch in 2005 till 2009 ( the 2010 model has a joypad control and different steering wheel )

This item WILL fit all Discovery 3 models from launch in 2005 to 2009 ( the 2010 Discovery 4 model has a joypad control and different steering wheel )

This item WILL NOT fit a Freelander 2 ( although the steering wheel looks the same the centre spline on the Freelander 2 is different )

This item WILL NOT fit a Range Rover L322 Vogue ( We have a range of steering wheels for a Range Rover L322 - see our other listings for more details )

This WILL NOT fit a P38 Range Rover.
