This listing is for a pair of side steps for a Freelander 1. These items are identical to the genuine Landrover "tear drop" side steps other than on our product the step is made fully from mirror polished stainless steel not black powder coated steel. This means no rusting which was a problem on the black powder coated steps.

These steps are extremely practical as they have rubber inserts in the step to prevent slipping.

These steps are one of the most stylish parts you can fit to your freelander. The front edge of the step has a plastic molding that is designed to fit against the front mud flap thus giving a "factory fitted" look to these steps.

The Chrome bar is stylish and has no sharp edges for you to catch yourself on as you get in and out of the car.

In addition to helping you get in and out of your freelander and looking great these bars will protect your Freelander from car park car door damage where inconsiderate people open their car door into your vehicle. With these steps fitted their car door will hit the side step and not your paintwork !

It's hard to see from the pictures but the bar and the step are both mirror polished stainless steel.

These are not genuine Landrover parts.

Fitting Details

These steps fit using 2 "outrigger" brackets on each side that hold the step.

The outriggers are bolted to the inner chassis section and the inner sill using M6 rivnuts ( all fittings supplied )

This item WILL fit all models ( 3 and 5 door / petrol / diesel etc ) of the Freelander upto 2007

This item WILL NOT Fit the new Freelander 2.
