Upgrade the steering wheel in your discovery with this replacement sports style steering wheel and boss kit.

This kit has all you need to convert from your old steering wheel with its 80's style single spoke to this modern sports wheel.

This steering wheel has an alloy center and black leather style hand grips.

The smaller diameter gives more knee / leg room if you are tall and makes driving more comfortable.

OK you need fraction more effort to steer the car but with power steering this is not a problem.

The nominal diameter of the splines on the steering column is 16mm

Steering wheel diameter is about 12.5" across.

Fitting Details

Remove the standard steering wheel noting position of the steering wheel before removing the old wheel.

Fit the new wheel to the steering wheel boss provided.

Fit the pin provided in the rear of the boss to activate the self cancelling indicators ( use the old wheel as a guide for position )

Fit the new wheel and tighten

Note - you will need a 27mm socket to remove the steering wheel nut.
