This listing is for the Air Conditioning radiator condenser for a BMW Mini cooper.

This will fit the Mini Cooper and Cooper S models from 2000 until 2007

The air conditioning radiator is always positioned in from of the water cooling radiator and is often damaged by stones and other road debris.

If the air con condenser is damaged it will leak the pressurised gas in the system and your air conditioning will no longer work.

Many garages like Kwik Fit will re-gas your air con system for around £45 but if they cannot re-gas the system due to a leak then they often don't charge so this is often a good way to see if the problem is a leak.

If you have a leak then the most probable cause is the condenser and often a close inspection of the fins on the condenser will reveal the fault.

The other thing to check when trying to find a fault on your air conditioning is if the pump is cutting in. The air con pump is driven by a belt on the engine and when you turn the air conditioning on in the car you should hear a slight clunk in the engine and the engine should change speed slightly as it needs to drive the air con pump which slows the engine slightly.

So if you think you need a new condener this item is a straight swap for the original item and comes pressure tested so you know its 100% OK when you receive it.

The item actually comes pressurised with seals in the ends - when you remove the seals you will hear the air leak so you know it good.
