These are a fantastic upgrade to your Range Rover P38!

Enhance the interior of your of your vehicle by fitting one of these hand crafted Burr Walnut effect gear knobs.

The original P38 gear selector knob is rather large and cumbersome looking - these are a much more elegant design.

The top of the range "Autobiography" models had walnut wood gear knobs fitted.

Many of the original leather gear knobs fitted to the Range Rover P38 are now looking aged and worn even on low mileage vehicles.

These are have been beautifully finished with a burr walnut effect and deep gloss lacquer.   The underside has been finished in hand stitched black leather.

These are a bespoke handmade item made with brass fittings and have a lovely weight and quality feel to them (each item weighs approx 200g).

Many items for sale are scratched and damaged but these are brand new with a perfect gloss finish.

This item comes supplied complete with grub screws and allen key.

These are not genuine Land Rover parts.

Fitting Details

On the rear side of the original gear knob there is a small screw below the reverse select lever.

Remove the screw and remove original knob.

There is an adjustment screw inside of the new knob to fine-tune the height the button sits at - please check and adjust as necessary before fitting.

Slide new gear knob onto the selector shaft and unscrew the silver collar to access the grub screw holes.

Ensure the knob is straight and fit the 3 supplied grub screws into place - pinch tight with the supplied allen key.

Check operation of the selector - half press for gear selection and full press to switch across the gait between Hi-range and Lo-range.

Give the grub screws a final tighten and screw the collar back into place.

Which Vehicles will this fit ?

This item WILL fit Range Rover P38 AUTOMATIC models up to 2002.

This item WILL NOT fit an L322 Range Rovers from 2002 onwards

This item WILL NOT fit a Range Rover Sport.
