Enhance your Land Rover Discovery 3 by fitting these colour coded mirror covers with in built LED indicator lights and LED Welcome lights.

These can be wired into the car so that the orange LED in the mirror covers flash orange when the indicators are used and also when you unlock the car with the remote keyfob there are white LED's that illuminate as welcome lights ( powered from the interior light circuit in the door ).

The latest Range Rover Models have LED indicators built into the mirrors and it is a popular feature on many top end models.

This listing is for a PAIR of mirror covers complete with pre-applied automotive grade adhesive tape and pre-clean wipe / wires / connectors.

In addition to the adhesive tape we now supply silicone adhesive with the mirror covers.

These full covers do not cover the original puddle light ( fitted to some models ) on the underside of the mirror - so you can stil avoid those puddles on rainy days !

We have tested these mirror covers and they are fine with the power-fold function if you have this on your vehicle.

These covers fit snuggly over the standard black plastic rear part of the door mirrors to transform the look of the mirrors.

These items are made from tough ABS plastic with a high gloss BLACK paint finish that will match if you have Java or Santorini black.

If your mirrors are scratched and faded these will give them an 'as new' appearance for a bargain price.

We also supply the old design half shell mirror cover.

Fitting Details

You do not need to remove the door mirror

You do not need to cut any wires on the car

The only slightly tricky bit is removing the door card - but this is covered in the 2nd video below.

There are 3 wires on the item :-

• BLACK - this is the Earth wire ( -VE ) - this connects to the BLACK wire on the side repeater in the door
• GREEN - this is the wire to illuminate the INDICATOR LED ( orange ) - this connects to the green+white wire on the side repeater in the door.
• WHITE - this is the wire to illuminate the WELCOME LED ( white ) - this connects to the purple wire on the welcome light at the bottom of the interior card.

Which Vehicles will this fit ?

This item will fit all Discovery 3 ( called LR3 in some markets ) models from Launch in 2005 to 2009 when the mirror shape changed ( see picture )

This item will also fit the Range Rover Sport / Freelander 2 / Discovery 3.

These WILL NOT fit a Discovery 4 ( called LR4 in some markets )
